What We’re Loving Now: Pomegranate Powder

Navitas Naturals‘ food philosophy is the following: “nutrient rich whole foods are best produced using organic agricultural methods with minimal processing.”  Their facility is Organic and Kosher Certified, and their products are versatile, healthy and delicious.  The one we’re loving right now is Organic Raw Pomegranate Power, made purely from finely crushed pomegranate powder.  Pomegranate juices can be sugary and filling, making the powder a perfect alternative.  The pomegranate is packed with vitamins (Potassium, Vitamin C), minerals and polyphenols, making it a “superfood” that contributes to cardiovascular health and cancer protection.  While, of course, we always advocate eating the real fruit first, this can also be incorporated into a healthy diet.  Pomegranate Power is a flavorful addition to smoothies, desserts, chocolate drinks, tea and salad dressing.  Find more recipes here.  And, feel free to check out some other favorites such as Navitas Natural’s Acai Powder and Mulberry/Goji/Goldenberry Trail Mix!  To see where Navitas Naturals products are sold near you, click on the store locator.
